INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATOR 

Athina Fouchard Papaefstratiou is an international arbitrator based in Paris. 

After spending over 15 years in the arbitration departments of leading international law firms, she launched her independent practice in 2022.

Athina Fouchard Papaefstratiou has significant experience in Africa-related arbitration, as well as in arbitration involving States and State entities. Her sector focus is on construction, energy, telecommunications and corporate disputes. Her experience includes arbitrations under the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, PCA, LCIA, Swiss Rules of International Arbitration, CCJA and ACIC arbitration rules. 

She publishes, teaches and speaks in conferences on issues of arbitration, international law and contract law. 

She is a Greek citizen, registered with the Bar in Paris and in Athens. She works in English, French and Greek.
